Since joining MUST, Vicent has contributed among other things the following;

Emphasizing practicals in core Engineering courses by establishing and equiping an electronics lab for the same.Today, Students of Computer Engineering have practical sessions that bridges the gap between theory and prcaticals.
Standardizing Computer Engineering Curriculum especially updating course contents.
Stocking of the university library with Computer Engineering text books which were lacking. At least, each course in Engineering has some text books in the library for referencees.
Establishing industrial links for Students industrial training placements These include among others; Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI), ESKOM Uganda Ltd, UCC, CAA etc.
Mr. Vicent is an active member of Embedded Systems Research group in the department of Computer Engineering
