About PGD Business Informatics

MBI innovatively aligns business needs with information technology to train business leaders in the digital century. It provides a well-balanced composition of business and technology studies necessary to foster business growth and competitive advantage.


Target Group

Target audiences for PGD include among others:

  1. Professionals with a degree in business informatics, information technology/systems, computing, business studies/economics, or any related degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field.
  2. Business, institutional or organizational employees in public, private and NGO sectors who wish to acquire practical and professional skills for business informatics.
  3. Business directors and managers who want to advance their present careers, or acquire new skills to re-direct their careers, or seeking to expand their expertise in dealing with new executive management tasks.

Admission requirements
  1. A degree in Computing, Information Technology/Systems, Informatics, Business Studies, or a degree from other STEM-related fields from a recognized University.

Duration

The PGD BI is a 1-year modular postgraduate programme consisting of 11 courses including a concept paper, which have to be completed in two semesters.
